AUSTRALASIAN TEKTITE DISTRIBUTION

Zoom in on the map and click on the dots for information on the locality.

This is really just a little taster. This data set is broken down to allow me to analyse the data better and remove noise or to focus on key types. I then spent a couple of months analysing the crater ray system and making sense of the pattern. On top of that I overlain geological structural features onto Google Earth. Basically, you are seeing the tip of the iceberg here, prior to interpretation, so look out for more later this year or early next year. I have some extremely interesting data, which I have brought together and will publish soon. I want to share it, but I just need to find the time to finish writing up.

Now I've worked out how to embed a kmz file on this webpage more will be expected. The following sites enabled me to work out how to do this Google Earth, Earth PointUsing Google Sites to Host Your KML and Google Sites.

UPDATE: I have updated the kmz file. You can download here and then in Google Earth, File, Open.
